Cadstruct Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record in overseeing commercial new-build construction projects. The ideal candidate will have recently managed projects valued at up to $20m and thrive in a hands-on role, ensuring the seamless delivery of complex construction new-builds and refurbishments.
Your Role:
- Oversee and manage every phase of commercial new-build projects, taking full ownership of project delivery.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and efficiency.
- Partner closely with the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator to drive project success.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, fostering a secure and compliant worksite.
- Proactively monitor timelines, troubleshoot delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Optimize resource allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to meet objectives cost-effectively.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections and site audits to uphold premium standards.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, safety records, and schedules.
- Build and nurture client relationships through transparent communication and exceptional service.
You bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial new-build and/or refurbishment construction projects valued up to $20m
- In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, best practices, and industry regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Proficiency in reviewing technical plans, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Unwavering commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Resourceful problem-solving abilities and calm decision-making under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to engage teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively.
